S&W Rear Sight (K-22)
« on: July 06, 2003, 08:34:03 AM »
Hello:

Wondering if any of you do any gunsmithing for others ?? I am in need of a rear sight leaf on my K-22 6" S&W 22 pistol. I got one from S&W, cost me an arm and leg, and I sure want to save this "old" one, since it only needs the "leaf" on it. If anyone can help, I'd sure appreciate it. I don't have any spares like this left, either. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you're asking for. You say "I got one from S&W, cost me an arm & a leg". Do you mean you got a whole new sight? Do you just want to replace the leaf on the old one? Email me, I might be able to help. >>>>>Bug.

I too am unsure of your request.  Sight blades(the verticle part of the sight) for Smith revolvers are available, along with the needed installation kit, from Brownells.  they are fairly easy to install but a new windage adjustment screw assembly sill be needed..
