I am on the east coast and I have found the site slow in the past, however for the last week or 2 it fast been fast and working without so much as a hiccup here....<><....:)

Matt and I discussed this last night, must be a local thing cuz I'm getting lightening like loads on both my user names and in IE7 or Firefox. Run a traceroute on gbospace.com  and see whatcha get, I always get 14 hops in about 37 milliseconds.

It has been slower here also, this page said it loaded in .143 seconds with 16 inquiries, closer to 10 seconds would be about right.

The site clock is way out of wack, notice the post times.

Yes, this morning the site clock is WAAAAY off, or it could be Deja Vue (Sp?) all over again, like the movie "Ground Hog Day perhaps? It is running just about 12 hours slow and the site is a bit slower this morning....<><....:)

Dunno what's up with the site time, it was only 8 miutes fast Monday night when he corrected it, now it's really off! ???

Bill, you did the traceroute with the default IP address, you need to use GBOspace.com or the IP 69.13.205.66 in the box. ;)

I am with you GB, i don't have an inkling what any of it means.
I do know that i can click on any thread 1-6-7 pages and bam it's their, can not imagine needing it
to be faster, here at work or home same deal, guess some folks have taken those speed reading
courses, or maybe they are just on speed. ::)

It may be just connection speeds. But when the page finally loads (for me) the little number on the bottom is ALWAYS way off. It will normally say something like .188 sec. or a similar # but I have actually sat here with a stop watch and my normal load time will run from 6-12 seconds. At work (which is where I am now) we have a DSL line and I have no issues to speak of in regards to other forums. But, like I said at the start of this thread, I don't mind as I like it here too much to let it bother me. It could be that Mc Afee is the cause for my slow downs.
