Anyone have experience shooting an encore rifle off a bi pod? Does it change POI ?

That's the only way I shoot mine in 22-250. But it's a prairie dog gun and is pretty much limited to the bench. Would it change the poi from a different rest? Probably, but TC's are pretty finicky about shooting them consistently the same from shot to shot so I believe it helps accuracy. Mine is very accurate.    KN

Unless shooting from a bench, I would suggest a set of shooting sticks(stony point) in place of the bi-pod. JMO

YOU KNOW, I WAS GOING TO START A THREAD ON THIS VERY TOPIC.

I TRIED TO USE A HARRIS BIPOD FOR BENCH SHOOTING MY TC ENCORE IN 243.

WITHOUT THE BIPOD, SHOOTING OFF SAND BAGS RESTING RIFLE  JUST AFTER THE TRIGGER GUARD,

THE RIFLE SHOOTS SUB .5 MOA CONSISTENTLY.  WITH THE BIPOD, POI CHANGED ~5 INCH DOWN AND 3 INCH RIGHT.

ACCURACY CHANGED TO >2.5 INCH.

IT SEEMS THAT FOREND PRESSURE HAS A BIG IMPACT ON HOW THIS RIFLE SHOOTS.

I have watched people shooting from the bench and I've noticed that a lot of them will put their left hand on top of the barrel (in front of the scope) or the scope itself and exert a downward pressure. 
Some of those same people, while shooting off of a bipod keep both hands off the top of the rifle all-together.

Is there a difference, you bet there is! 

I shoot my TC Encore in 204 Ruger from a bench rest and also from a Harris bipod and I don't see any difference.
It boils down to your grip on the rifle.  It needs to be consistant.
