Encore stock and 204 barrel
« on: February 17, 2008, 09:31:00 AM »
I have recently bought a 270-encore pistol with a 15 " barrel and am in the market for a rifle stock and 204 barrel. My question is can any one tell me where I might get a walnut thumb hole or a nice laminated stock that will not break the bank and also I have never owed a 204 but have read a lot about it and would like to know if the round is as good for predator hunting and some medium range target shooting as what I am hearing.

Check out GBO sponsor Gunstocks, Inc.  They sell stocks that are 95% inletted, and ready to finish for a good price.  I finished one for my G2 a while back, and I like it quite a bit.

I have a .204 barrel that I use for chucks, and would not be afraid to use it for predators as well.  It is a tack driver from the factory.
