I have been reading the archives for an hour now and I can't find a specific answer to my question. Where exactly do you place the electrical tape to minimize the barrel/forearm contact? I see people saying to put a hole in the folded tape for the forearm screws to pass through. I am assuming that the hole in the electrical tape also allows the screw dovetails on the barrel to pass through it as well? Thus, the electrical tape will be touching both the forearm on one side of it and the barrel on the other side of the tape? Is this correct? Thanks for the help.
