I don't think so guys.  Kosovo is the southern portion of Serbia.  This oil and gas are in the Northwestern portion of Serbia.  In other words Serbia has the gas and oil, not Kosovo.

Personally I think Serbia is going to roll in and squash Kosovo anyway.  They won't let them seccede if they can stop it.

It said northwestern Albania, which is south of both Serbia and Kosovo.  Northwestern Albania borders on Kosovo.

Kosovo is technically an independent country, but they speak Albanian and are Muslim like the Albanians.  Serbia is Eastern Orthodox (like Russia).  We probably recognized Kosovo because we want to be friends with the Muslim Albanians and buy their oil.
