45 colt front sight

I would like to find a front sight like the one on (my son's so he tells me) CR-45 colt to put on a different handi.  Would anyone have an idea where I could find such a beast and/or a reasonable copy.  I really like the brass bead and think it would go well with a rear peep for handi 45/70 work.

I think the front sight on the carbine is a Marbles .570", that's what mine looks like and measures, you could order one from H&R I'm sure, they're available elsewhere, but they've probably got the best price. But you'd have to cut a dovetail to use that sight and I think a shorter sight would be needed, the combo in the Peep and Firesights link in the FAQs works on one of my 45-70 Handis, you can get a Williams ramp and an insert that would bolt right on.

Glad to help, I checked the carbine sight info out recently and posted it,  but couldn't find the thread with the search, it may have been on another forum.
