2008 bear tags are drawn
« on: February 22, 2008, 05:40:47 AM »
Its 2/22/08 and the results for bear tags are online if you are anticipating one.

After 5 years of applying, I finally got my 2008 zone C tag today.

Only 52 days before baiting season starts!

Ill be hunting near Mosinee.  There were at least 2 different bears on the property last year.  Hopefully a stump full of donuts will keep them around.

good luck. :) I just realized I have 5 points- enough for a tag on my land in Clark county (zone c).  problem is there are so many guys running their hounds all over, I imagine they would run any bears right off the bait if I could get a couple active. maybe I'll buy a license and set up a couple sites just to see and then apply next year.
