Has Taurus stopped making the Gaucho?
« on: February 22, 2008, 06:29:31 AM »
I see at Bud's that they're out of stock. I went to the Taurus site and tried to bring up the Gauchos and it said "no products found".  What's up?

Azmark, I have heard that they have.  Apparently they have not sold well enough to keep in production.  For whatever reason, CDNN and other distributors are blowing them out at $300 or less.  I just picked up two brite SS 5 1/2" for that price (plus shipping, plus FFL fee, plus tax).  It's a good time to get a good gun at a very reasonable price.  See my 'Gaucho' thread.  44 Man

I saw the same page as you when I googled it.  When I went in from the front of their website and selected revolvers from the main page, and then clicked on the link for Gauchos, that's where it returned the message "No matches were found. Please click here to try another search."

Local gunshops are still asking the regular prices, but online dealers are either selling them cheap or they're out of stock.
