New handi 308 to get range time
« on: February 22, 2008, 12:00:04 PM »
I'm going to make up some loads this weekend for it. Then off to the range. I'll let you know how it goes. From what I've been told, the 308 has a real good accuracy history behind it. I sure hope so!

I've only shot 150 grain Federal Power Shok's in mine, but they did real good.  In many places around these parts they're still the least expensive.

My .308 Ultra really likes the Wichester PP's @ 150 grains.    Which is nice because they're the cheapest around here!!

I've also shot the Silvertips at 150 and 168(?) grains.   They shoot well, but you can't jump back and forth from the Silvertips and PP's without a good cleaning.
