CZ 458 American Safri Magmun Lott
« on: February 23, 2008, 05:22:35 AM »
That is one easy rifle to shoot. Weighs 10.3 LBS with a scope. I'd put this rifle out front of all the rest. I'm talking DG hunting Rifle. Any body else own one?

I've also been quite happy with mine.  The cushy recoil pad means I can shoot it painlessly off the bench.

I own one in a BRNO mauser action, but haven't shot it in years.  Don't have the occasion to use it.  My dad borrowed it when he and my mother went of safari to Africa and shot elephant.  He used the Lott and my mother used the .416 Remington.  Both got elephant, cape buf, and lion.  They liked it so well that they have made 4 safaris now using the same rifles.
Greg lost his battle with cancer last week on April 2nd 2009. RIP Greg. We miss you.
