clay manufacturing?
« on: February 23, 2008, 06:03:57 PM »
Where are they manufactured?  I am having a hard time paying out 10-13 dollars for a box of clays.
I have been talking with a handful of people about seeing if we can order half a truck,  shoot what I need and sell the rest below. I used to pick them up at Wallys.    Wal-mart is not stocking them anymore (Boise,ID) .  They were about 6 at wallys.  I have talked to the folks at wal-mart, they are little to no help in getting them brought in.
All I have found online for manufactures are either in Europe or China

Thanks

Sorry it took me so long to reply;but I forgot where the post was.I checked my Wally World and they have plenty of them. They're $6.76 per case of 90.I don't use them so I don't know if this is cheap or not.I asked the mgr. about them and he said they come from the main warehouse, but they had no problem getting them..Rick

White Flyer has a plant near me in PA. Here's a link to the corporate site   http://www.whiteflyer.com/   There may be a location near you too. I hope you find this useful.

I dropped white flier a email, they replied that they sell only to dealers.  That is fine.  I called the dealer that they comment on.  Even buying in bulk from them cost two dollars more than Walmart.  So when does walmart have them?  Was given the grocery list the other day, so  ended up at walmart.  I got to talking with a new fella in sporting goods area.  He told me that he can get them anytime.  It is usually a day or two after he orders them.  He did it, i picked up four boxes to start with.  $7 a box.  Still better than the $9.23 quoted with the other dealer. That was bulk prices (pallet) too.

Be careful buying the boxes from Wally world. The clay pigeons at my local wally world sound like there is many broken ones when I lift and tip the box
