Gear for this year , What you bringing ?

I plan to cut back this year to just 5 rifles , The 218 Bee , 224 GNR , 223 Rem and my 22-250 or 25/06 . this combo should cover just about any shot from 10 to 500 yards . ( all Handi's ) Will also pack the 45/70 so if i get the chance to stop by eastern OK for wild pigs .

Aside from guns i plan on my shooting bench & seat , sand bags , binoculars , cooler , ammo , cleaning kit and that's about it . The last 2 years i took everything but the Kitchen sink and only used about 1/2 of it .

I plan on bringing the 17MII,17HMR,204Ruger,223Rem,225Win,25/06 all Handi's. Would like to bring the 5mm Remington if the ammo is available then I would leave the MII home. I am also gonna plan a hog trip haven't decided yet on cal. 357 mag shootin 360DW,7.62x39,25/06,45/70? Shootin bench,bag,binocs and cooler. Also gonna bring the 32H&R magnum just to show it off and plink at the ranch. Kurt

Had to modify this as I finally figured out what all the screaming was in the back room I forgot to include the Hornet guess the Mach II gets bumped weather the 5MM comes or not.

I'll be bringing just my 223 and 22-250, that and a bench and a bunch of ammo should get the job done.

   I am hoping that I can make it this year because I will be in Boston June 10th-16th.  If nothing else I might have to come up on friday and sat and shoot the bull.

I'm seriously thinking of cutting back to just three guns this year, 17HMR Savage, Handi .223 bull, and 220 Swift Ruger. I'll of course be bringing a cooler, water, munchies, clothing (hope the rest of ya remember to bring some too since I've been the first guy to mention it so far ) a jacket for sure, shooting bench, ammo, cleaning kit, MONEY, and one ugly Ditchdigger  .

I forgot to bring a jacket last year, boy was that a mistake!  I thought I was going to freeze that one morning!!!!

I'm planning on bringing my .223 Handi, .223 contender pistol, .204 Ruger, .17 Remington, and 22 Hornet.  The Hornet didn't see much action last year, and so I plan on it for the close in shots.  You're right about the coat, last year the first morning was COLD! Shooting bench, bags, binoculars, sunscreen and hat, a cooler with water and gatoraide and munchies.  I plan on staying out and eating lunch in the field, so I can get more shooting in.  Oh and too more things, lots of ammo and a appetite for Dan's ribs!

That's one thing about us Northern guy's we don't put the jackets away til about middle of July. Sure wish they would post the dates my biggest fear is I got a chance to go to south Dakota also and the dates falling same time .Kurt

Remember, I am new to this so tell me if my Deer cart would come in handy rolling back and fourth?

If so i will bring it up. As you can see it can haul some weight!
Also, It is electric.

As much as i like the concept , i dought that it would be of much use .

1. What you WILL need is a bench or table to shoot off of along with a stool or chair to sit on .

2. A set of sandbags or a shooting rest .

3. Rifles and ammo ( more than one as they do tend to heat up quick )

4. Shooting glasses and ear protection

Nice to have , cooler for drinks , hat to keep the sun off , sun block , spotting scope or binocs .

Last but not least a warped sence of humor .

I think he has the warped part down stimpy anybody who won't let a buck like that ride in the front seat while golfing is warped .but then maybe he's just taking them home after to long at the 19th hole. Kurt

 That cart will not be much good, We drive with in 100 ft or so
 to where we sit up shootin tables, There is no walking done
 during the hunts. Marv.

Got a new shooting bag. Need a good set of nockler`s And some night time air show for the kid`s Rich

Started loading ammo and had to rethink my rifles for this year , 22 Mag , 218 Bee , 224GNR , 223 and 243 , should cover just about everything that i can SEE . 

On a side note , I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised with the door prizes for this year if everything goes as planed .
