330 safety gripper

Is it just me or is it impossible to remove the safety tool on a 330 set on the furthest out notch. I've ordered 3 different saftety gripper tools, and none can be removed after setting the coni. They are simply too narrow for the jaw width. Any help? I don't want to use wire.........

Mallard, you came to the right place--I carry a safety grippers that will fit all body grippers from a 110 to the species specifics[which have a wider  set of jaws of any 330] your standard safety grippers --as you found out will not fit ALL 330s. Tom
