Hind Sight?
« on: February 26, 2008, 10:27:19 PM »
Have any of ya'll tried one of these. I need the pro/cons on one. I'd like to be able to get rid of the peep and this supposedly does.

I have problems with a peep. I just can't seem to get the pins lined up when I draw. I've got the peep sewn in where it belongs, I've tried different sizes, and Mine has one of the rubber tubes that turns it correctly everytime. Heck, it might just be my eyes.

ANy info would be appreciated,
Thanks

I have seen these but not used them.  They look ok to me, if you are mainly going to be using the bow for hunting, I think they would be fine for 20yd shots.  You might check out the no peep sight from timberline, kinda the same thing.  A new and different approach is string splitter  www.sternerduttera.com/ss.asp.  I have thought of going to this but like to target shoot to much so will keep my peep for now.  Instead of centering the peep on each pin you line the top of the sight up with the top of the spliter and aim accordingly.  I see accuracy problems with this but think for close range and low light it would be great.
