Can't come up with a particular ad, but do remember this comment from one of the gun magazine's from the late '70's or the early '80's. Some famous gun magazine writer had done an article about the Colt Python that had been sent to him. He was expounding about how great this Python was, accuracy and looks and what not. The last line in one of the paragraphs, he said, this gun is almost as accurate as my Dan Wesson. Since I was in the market for a .357 at the time, went to the local gun shop, and priced them both. Since the Python was double the price of the Colt at the time, around $200 for the DW, and almost $400 for the Colt, bought the DW. Never looked back. gypsyman
