« on: February 27, 2008, 03:16:00 PM »
Well it has happened!!  I had to bring home a 1970 model Colt Diamondback 38 from the pawn shop, I have been watching this one for awhile and when it was time to come out of the safe it went to the safe in the house, the action on them old snakes is butter smooth.   JIM

It will be both a casual shooter, but mostly a safe Queen, I had a pair of them back in the mid. 70s one 22 the other in 38 both 4 in. but had a friend who hounded me so much I finely gave in and sold them to him, he sent them back to Colt to have them engraved by them, had a custom wood box built by someone and he came up with a scrimpsawed (sp) set of Ivory grips for them!!   They were Beautiful when he passed away they were not anywhere to be seen and havent been seen since, I believe he took them with him.   JIM

Wow, if you have snakes in your house you should really look into hiring an exterminator of some sorts. It's just nasty to be living among reptiles like that.

I had to pass on a 6" .22LR Diamondback. I really wanted that gun, but didn't have the $500. It was really fine.
