Whaddya think guys? Time to rally 'round @#%# bag McCain?
« on: February 28, 2008, 04:27:02 PM »
I'm almost to the point where I can hold my nose and vote for dirt bag traitor constitution wrecker unfit-for-public-office McCain. I might even send some money to the dirt bag Republicans. The sole reason is that @#$# bag Obama is #$@, $#@@, *%##, and $@## worse, at least from an apparent policy point of view. Dirt bag traitor McCain is at least trying to make nice with the people he needs to elect him (before stabbing us all in the back if he is elected.) So it looks like we're $#!@%# either way. It's just a matter of severity.

Where are you in the thought process?

I want to see some real contrition from the Republicans during the next couple of months or I won't vote for them. Any of them. And that includes congressional seats. Conservatives elect them. They are beholden to conservatives.  If they don't aggressively start pandering to conservatives by the end of March, I don't think there is any possibility of a Republican Whitehouse or Congress.  It'll be too late regardless of how much money is contributed after that.

Don't get involved much with political matters anymore, just am busy plugging away taking care of myself and mine. That being said, in the past I voted at times for the lesser of two evils. I will not again do so.

Voting for McCain is affirming or giving license to his agenda. Repeat, I will not ever do so again.

I feel your disgust gentlemen.  When it became clear McCain would win the Republican nomination, I told my wife that I was sick of voting in self defense, and voting Republican just to vote against Democrats.  I went on to say that as long as the Republicans were going to run a Democrat on their ticket, I thought I would stay away from the polls this fall.
She brought me back to reality with two sentences.  "There are seven Supreme Court Justices in their seventies, and most if not all will be replaced in the next eight years.  Imagine a Supreme Court appointed by Obama or Clinton, and affirmed by Democrat controlled House and Senate."
We are just beginning to recover from such a nightmare, so I guess I will swallow hard, and pull the lever for McCain.  The next line-up in the Supreme Court will be with us a lot longer than the next President. I hope you guys concider this before throwing in the towel.
I rode with him,---------I got no complaints. ---------Cowpox

Cowpox;

You just spoke a very important truth ! As much as many of us don't agree with McCain, he has promised to appoint strict Constitutionalist judges.
Will he ?  ..Can't be sure, but it is highly likely..

On the other hand, we KNOW and can RELY upon what kind of judges the witch or the mullah would appoint ! If there are some old, activist (read non-
constitutional) judges that are tired ans ready to retire...you can bet they are just hanging on with their fingernails, waiting for one of those frightful
  two to be elected !
It has come to the point where it is no longer a question about how we feel about McCain..but how we feel about America !

A side note that is rarely mentioned..many of us have sons, daughters, grand sons & daughters serving in the military, fighting possibly the most treacherous
enemy we have ever fought. I for one, want them to have the best equipment, weapons and training that our nation can provide. John McCain will take
care of our fine , young troops, unlike the way they were neglected under Carter/Clinton...

We don't need another Mogadishu ...or 3 or 4... !
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

I have thought long and hard about wheater I would vote for McCain. Just when I was thinking I could, here in Minnesota we had 4 young children killed in anccident where an Illegal alien hit a school bus in Cottonwood MN. His Sponsorship of the McCain Kennedy immigration bill has caused me to rethink my voting. I consider him and all that supported that bill complicit in the deaths of these children. This criminal invader had been picked up in the past and ICE did not deport. I will have to make my final decision in November at the voting booth.

Have we all forgotten a long held tenant that politicians represent the people?

Here's an idea, lets tell our representatives , not this forum, or our drinking buds, or the guy on the other lane at the bowling alley, but our elected officials that they need to K-O this immigiration crap.  Don't assume that anyone else is doing it.

Maybe, just maybe, they will get the message and change the way they are voting.

Maybe, just maybe, McCain will change his view also.

People think that voting for someone sends a mandate.  You need to let them know, point blank, that you have expectations.  People think that not voting for them is the only way to send a message.  Its not, phone them, write them, or email them.  Chances are, they are not GBO members.

If you need help finding who your elected officials are, I'll be more than glad to help, but we know its just a click a way, and nearly 99.9% of the electorate have a website.  Believe it or not, your emails get read, and they often answer them.  It shouldn't take much of your time to look them up online and drop them a note.  Just be civil.

I'm curious how many people who complain that McCain is too liberal for the Republican party actually get involved with the party, or have any clue how their local reps are voting.

I truly do not want McCain as President of the US. But even more than I don't want him as President I don't want Hillary. And FAR FAR FAR more than I don't want her I don't want that muzlim. Our country will not survive four years with a closet muzlim as prez what the hell do you think he's gonna do if he gets in? He will open the borders wide and in those four years we'll become a muzlim nation not unlike those we're over there fighting right now.

Folks ya better batten down the hatches cuz the seas are fixing to get rough and if you think you're just gonna hold on tight and ride this one out then you got another think coming.

I just don't know yet!!  I was almost to the point of voting for one of the other 2 just to watch them FALL on their FACE!!  McCain was on the end of my list and still hasn't  shown me anything to make me even think his way, I still have decided if any of my property could hold one of the campaign signs its going to be a long summer.   JIM

that is the only thing i have confidence in mccain to do.

the other thing to keep in mind is that we can survive mccain,  i dont think we can survive clinton or obama.   the supreme court appointments are going to wieght into the future far more than who ever is prez for the next 4 years.

If Osama, or Hellery become President, there is absolutely no doubt what the Supreme Court will become.  If McCain gets into the White House, maybe, just maybe there will be enough pressure from right thinking lawmakers and voters to keep him from doing something stupid.  Slim though the chance might be, it is the only chance that the Supreme Court will not be lost for a lifetime and thus our country go right down the s**tter.

Well if you remember  when the Mcain-Kennedy amnesty bill came to a vote in the senate, the phone numbers for the senators offices and the phone numbers for the senate itself were so overloaded by people calling in {i was one of them also} telling their senators not ot pass this bill, the phone boards there had to shut down.We need to do it again!, if the house, the senate and the president elect try it again. GET INVOLVED, DONT JUST SIT THERE AND COMPLAIN!  If you dont vote at all, youve lost your right to complain

Senator McCain is not my Idea choice as President  but he is a hell of a lot better than the other choices. As much as I hate saying this , At least you know what your are getting with Senator Clinton. all  the other candidate says is hope, I'm hoping he don't get elected. After much thought  I am going to do something That I though  I would never do,  in our primary next Tuesday I am going to vote  :'( :'( :'( for (having trouble getting my hand to even type it)Hillary (primary only)the longer she is in the race the more stuff she can dig up on Obama
All though Senator McCain is not my 1st  choice for President he Is far better than the other choices  and I always have  high respect for Senator McCain  As I do All Veterans and former P.O.W's
I do not agree with a lot of stuff  Senator McCains  says But I have No doubt in his Patriotism  I do have a lot of doubt in Obama's patiotism

McCain has made a career out of pretending to be a conservative, then stabbing them in the back.

No vote from me for McCain for anything forever.

To bad we can't kick this group out and get another group to run for president. I think that we are pretty much screwed no matter who wins the election. I'm with GB just hold on tight.

Hes our only option, sad but true,if you vote 3rd party and throw away another vote against the dems you are part of the problem, dont vote for a non candidate just to be different, vote for the candidate that actually has a chance of helping us.

Remember Ross Perot? That little deal gave us Slick Willy to run the country. How many of you liked him? Voting third party or staying home because you don't like McCain is gonna get you Hillary or Osama. Are you gonna be happy with them? I have problems with McCain but not nearly as many as with the other two. I've voted in every presidential election since I've been old enough to vote and can't think of one candidate I was totally happy with. I even had a problem or two with Reagan. Yes, McCain will be the lesser of two evils for me but that is better than the other choices. See you at the polls.

Yes I do believe the lesser of two evils is the way to go whether I like it or not.  I voted for bush both times and I wasnt happy with him and viewed him as the lesser of two evils. Stay at home and not vote, the so called change candidate "O'bam bam" walks in. Take your pick. The damage to be done unless we stand up whether we like it or not this time is the case.

The sad truth is that when faced with two evils if you don't vote for the lesser then by default you get the greater. Some seem to think that we need just that to "teach the voters a lesson". The trouble with that thinking is the voters are too stupid to learn a lesson and we'll all have to put up with the results.

We're not going to come out of this next one with a good President but then we've not had a good one for the last four terms so what's new. We can I think better survive McCain than either of the dumocraps but we can't survive the muzlim.

If I spill coffee and burn myself is it McDonald's fault?

If I vote 3rd party for a candidate who more closely represents my small government values why is it my fault
if a Democrat gets elected?

Why is it that I'm part of the problem and not the fact that the Republican party is no longer conservative?

How about personal responsibility instead of blaming others for your own ineptitude?

Sheeple make me sick, vote as you please but dont b&^%$ when you have a worthless liberal president,it will be the sheeple that buy into the third party BS that get another clinton elected. If you dont vote against the canidate that actually has a chance of beating the dems and is way better for our people you might as well be voting for the dems,if you cant understand that you probably are a liberal.

.
Don't know if that synopsis holds water: McCain crashed five airplanes, known as a hotdogger and possiblely involved with the 'wet' start on the Forrestal incident, never made admiral like his two fore bearers cause of his record, graduated second from the bottom of his Annapolis class, was involved with the "Air Jesus' flight after 911 ferrying Saudies quickly back to SA, is temperamental and quick tempered, likely a serial adulterer, said to have a 'hairtrigger' by Col David Hunt (Fox News), an amnesty advocate, and then there's McCain-Feingold, most likely a surrogate gun-grabber and a CFRer and NAU guy.
So lessor evil takes on a whole new meaning....I suppose why Rush and Coulter don't care for him much.

I hear he gives out apples instead of candy at Halloween, picks his nose with his left index finger, and can't whistle between his teeth.

Doublebass, in my view it is really simple why if you vote third party and a Democrat gets elected you are partly to blame. The vote you wasted on a third party candidate that has no chance of being elected is one that would have helped the Republican defeat the Democrat. Might as well just stay home. When its all over but the hand wringing the only ones that will care are the ones that didn't want a Democratic president. And next election it will be the same old thing, there still won't be a viable third party candidate.

I am 60 years old and have voted in every election and proud to do so, that is until this year.  Yes I am from Arkansas and know the Huckster, you don't want him either.  Remember Arkansas did provide you with Bill/Hill.  I just wish we could just call overs and start over but it seems as though that would not be any better either.  What to do.  Do I vote or not.  Not voting gives me no right to complain about the out come but I don't want to be part of the down fall either.  Guess I'll do like some of the others, hold by nose and vote McCain, at least he was patriotic 40 years ago. May be he won't sell us out as bad as osama/hill will.  Just my thoughts from the farm.

He gives out apples instead of candy..... :o, etc.,etc.,etc.  So what's your point?
I know what my point was...impeccable mil record might not be that stellar.
.
As far as I know RP is still in it,,,,why you ask? You thinkin you and everybody should have supported him now.. Aren't you??
Oh well...sit back and enjoy the medicine show.....

...TM7

I'm just curious about your laundary list on McCain.  Wondering if we can attribute anything else like tidal anomolies and such to McCain.

Quoting someone from foxnews and all.  I notice when you have a problem with them you call them "fauxnews", but when the information suits you, its "foxnews"

How did McCain get the F-4's rocket to strike his A-4 (or LCDR Whites A-4), while on the Carrier?

Serial adulterer?  Larry Flynt give that tidbit out, or our we relying on the Times?

Impeccable mil record may not be all its cracked up to be (in so much as a career gynecologist is either).

"Likely a this, possibly involved in that, likely blah blah blah."

I don't buy into the rhetoric of Rush or Ann anymore than yours.

Maybe its my lack of distrust, but
-Could it be that McCain is not an adulter and simply considers everyone - male or female - as a person, and does not lconcern himself with how situation's look?
-Could it be that he honestly feels that gun shows are a conduit towards criminals getting guns (I don't agree, but could it be?)

probably could be - better chances than his experience at crashing planes being used as a template for the 911 hijackers.

Probably.

Likely.

Maybe.

Ron Paul could have had a lot more support had he not followed into the Democrats world of making empty promises.

What a flipping mess this election is gonna be. I thought about just voting for Nader and let the chips fall where they might. Someone mentioned Amnesty Bill. I think both sides are for this. God Help Us all.
