Work on getting the forarm off the barrel if its putting preasure on it up front. Are you shooting it consisently, I mean are you holding it the same, resting it the same, etc. 15" sounds to me like theres some thing else wrong. KN

Carl, is that the barrel I sold you?  There is NO WAY it strung like that on my frame, but I never fired factory ammunition of any type, only reloads using new R-P brass (initially) purchased from Midway.  I remember you said it locked up tight on your frame, so it shouldn't be doing this unless there is either a forearm problem or, as someone suggested, maybe a mount/scope problem.  I was able to get around 1.5" using 130 grain bullets, but not with maximum charges.  Check the mounts and try to float the forearm and see what happens.  If you want, send me an email and I'll send you a load or two that I found to be good.  I think I still have my notes, but I'm not sure.
