Match grade chambers have this issue more often than standard chambers. If your brass is resized to properly fit your chamber this should never be an issue. I have several custom chambers and have never had a lock up problem due to that. The only lock up problem I have experienced were due to the locking lugs which is pretty common but easy to eliminate.
Bought a 10" stainless 22 match barrel from a guy here and it wont lock up on my G-2 frame. The split locking lug looks the same as my other barrels but the hammer won't cock. At first it wouldn't even stay closed but with a quick snap close, it will lock closed but you can see a TINY space between the end of the barrel and the frame. What's up? Please dont say I need to send it all off to Thompson Center. Thanks.
