FFL question
« on: March 03, 2008, 01:46:13 PM »
Traded for a rifle a while back, had it shipped to the FFL friend here, he died the day after receiving it, 1 day before I could get it. So now it sits at his house, I talked to the executor, she said she would have to send it back and have the seller reship to another FFL. Can't it just be taken to the other FFL here and transferred?

Thanks, Jim

I think that question would be best answered by the ATF, the executor is going to have to make the decision and be comfortable with it.

This might work out, talked to ATF (thanks, quick!) they'll let us do a transfer thru another dealer and the dealer is cool with it. Supposed to take care of it tomorrow. Thanks for the advice.
