What is the general consensus of the Remington 750? I have read a lot of goods things about them but at just about every gun shop that I go to, there is a couple of used ones on the racks. Are they keepers or not?

I haven't shot one, but I did handle a friends 750!
I like the feel/lines of the 750 vs the 740 or 742.
It is also a lighter weight rifle.
If I was going to go to an autoloader, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of the 750's!
