Of the rack .270 hunting rifle ? I'd go for the Winchester Featherweight.

I guess there's no right or wrong answer on this one..."Best" can mean different things to different people. Also, this generally applies to rifles, but, specifically, how can one properly answer what the "best" "270" is? (other than perhaps the answer that 2eagles posted where he said MINE

Well like they said "mine". I will tell you that "mine" is the Winchester M70 Featherweight with the McMillan fiberglass stock from the factory. It was only available like that for around 3 or 4 years back in the mid 80's.
