Point #1.........I wouldn't spend that kind of money on something I couldn't put my hands on.
Point #2..........I'd check a gun values book at my library to get an idea of condition/value; get informed about the gun & company.
Point #3..........If it got to the point where I was leaning forward on it, I'd pay a qualified gunsmith to come with me & evaluate its condition.
Point #4..........Check out availability of reloading components, tools; factory ammo.
