I have the opportunity to purchase the above named rifle, in 98% condition for $5500.00 Canadian.  It comes in the original box and has the factory target.  The rifle is sighted in to cross at 100 yards and the target has two neat little holes that are overlapping.  The wood is nothing spectacular, the receiver is silver with a smattering of engraving.

I checked the Zolli website and could find nothing on double side by side rifles.

Does anyone have any thoughts comments etc. regarding this rifle.

Your comments are appreciated.

Thanking you in advance,
Carpediem

Here is one for $3200 http://www.gunsamerica.com/976983510/Guns/Rifles/Double-Rifles/Zoli_double_rifle_9_3X74R.htm

I am a Valmet guy, meaning I have not spent the money for a double rifle.  I have heard good things about the Chapius here is an example of one that is no longer listed but has great pics. http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=89987625

Let us know what you do.

Thanks for the info Doug;

The zoli  you showed is an over under, the one I am looking at is a side by side.

Kindest regards,

To me a SxS has alot more value.

here is a Zoli SxS DR in a different chamber as a reference http://www.gunsamerica.com/976983505/Guns/Rifles/Double-Rifles/Zoli_double_rifle_375H_H.htm

The 9.3x74R is one of my favorite rounds.  You might want to make sure you know the exact  ammo that was used to regulate the gun, I have seen different commercial ammo shoot differently in my 30-06 O/U DR.

Based on what I saw it comes down to do you  believe it is a fair deal?
