Source of gunsmithing screws
« on: March 08, 2008, 05:15:44 PM »
 ;) Hi Gents,

I need help again.  Need replacement machine screws "Fellister" Head slotted for the Thompson Center Encore barrel.  I'm doing the free float with washers in the forearm.  Everyone has said that you need longer screws to make this work.  What size screws and where can I find them?  I have been to Brownell's and they don't seem to have anything that will work.  I have measured the screws with a card gauge that said it was a metric (7) M4,  but my US std pitch gauge said it was a perfect 40 threads per inch and about a (7.5).  So I need a little help.  Thanks Old Moss  ???
