.22hornet..accurate as HECK!!

Ok, I own over 20 long guns, 4 of them are Handis.  My sons 22Hornet is the most accurate gun we own.  This lil bugger will consistantly show 3 shot cloverleaf groups @ 75 yards.  Havent tried it farther.  The Handi 308 is almost as accurate.  These are handloads using 45 gr win HPs over 11.1 grains accurate 1680.  Shot it today and totally love it!!

The Hornet is easy to love. Mine shoots pretty well too. Its going to be my walking-stalking rifle for groundhogs this spring and summer.

Groundhogs!!! yeah, this is my son's groundhog gun.  I still have to work up a load (better) for my .223 ULTRA.

I had a Hornet and it shot pretty good, I reamed it to 221 Fireball and it is extremely accurate. At 100 yards it will shoot a 5 shot group about the size of a dime.  It's not quite as fast as a 223 but it is easier to reload than the thin case Hornet and it is sweet to shoot.  I have ordered a custom stock for it as this will be one of the guns that I will not  part with.
