If it were my revolver I would put blue Loctite on it, even if "they" recommended against it.  I have shot some very hot loads through my M66 without anything shooting loose, but I would Loctite it if it did.

My .218 Bee revolver (6.5" bbl) has done the same.  I decided to take it apart to see how much further it would come out.  It basically came out all the way and luckily, I did not loose any of the small springs that were part of the assembly.  The cylinder came completely out and I was able to give it a good clean up.  I reassembled without using locktite but I check often to make sure it is not loose.  Of course I developed ideas of having different cylinders for rimfire cartridges like the 22LR/22Mag for the fan of it but I don't think that Taurus would do that (like the rossi bbl program?).  I still love my 218 Bee and it is a keeper.
