New Encore Owner

Thanks to searching on this forum and others, I finally went out and ordered me a encore. Ordered a Pro Hunter 50 cal. muzzleloader, stainless, flex tex stock. Had my heart set on the 20 gauge rifled barrel, but figured the 50 cal. would be the way to go.

I am active duty Air Force, been in for over 12 yrs now. Stationed in MO at Ft Leonard Wood. Hopeing by ordereing the encore, it will be easier to move one gun and a few barrels, instead of a bunch of guns everytime I move. I plan on getting mea .223 barrel for coyote hunting, some deer caliber, and maybe a .17hmr, and depending on where I get stationed at next, some bigger caliber for whatever happens to be around that area.

I have learned alot from reading this site. I have noticed either people love the encore or they hate it. I've done about a year of research, I'm thinking I'm going to be one of those that love it. Thanks for the info you post on here and have a good day.

Haven't heard anything from you in a long time, thought you ran away or something!  LOL
Good to see you're still around.
Things have been quiet around Russell, except for the weather.

You'll like the ENCORE. 
Now, I/We have 3, with two-50cal ML's, one-221 Fireball, and one-204 Ruger, Then I have my Pro-Hunter with a 28 inch, 280 Remington barrel.
All are rifle barrels.

Hey Chuck, nope I aint ran away yet. I'll be heading to Russell at the end of June, see the old crazy father in law. New baby was born last spring, we didn't make the trip up there, hope to this year. But with gas going up, I don't know

As one old air force man to another ,Korea vet 1952 fourth fighter wing Kimpo Korea.I just picked up a encore pro hunter 28 inch barrel 243 from Ed and he went out of his way to pick me a nice wood stock and fore end. Love the way it shoots and also picked up a new 223 26 inch and love the way it shoots.
