Anyone have one? If so how do you like ? I'm looking at getting a .308 in left-hand.

Are you sure you have the model correct? I just looked through my 2008 catalog twice and can not find a VSF anywhere in it. I could be blind though. Dale

Awesome rifle, if you can find one in .308, let alone a left hand, nab it ASAP and don't look back! It was between that and the Police but realized I could get the SPS Varmint and the same stock and save about 100.00 in the process PLUS get the new trigger. Neither the Police or VSF offer the new Xmark Pro But don't let that stop ya!

After Dales post, I did some searching and he's right, the picture isn't in the catalog! It is however mentioned on page 30 near the bottom, it's the last Bolded model they talk about.

They always have them at stores but NEVER in .308 and dealers can never track any down in that caliber so again, if you can find one, get it!

are they discontinuing them? I'm starting to get worried because sportsman's warehouse could not order me one in. I don't have all the money yet just enough for the down payment on layaway. I'm going to try gander mountain tomorrow. Any ideas where to look on line guys?  hopefully be able to put it on lay-away.

They only do runs of the .308 TWO times a year, so the .308 right hand models are VERY hard to come by, let alone a Lefty. If you want it that bad, you'll have to be VERY persistent and call every week until you get one in .308. It could take a year, no joke.

It is Not being discontinued. They can surely get you one in another caliber so that proves the "two runs a year" comment. I can go order one in every caliber right now in every caliber except .308. Most online sellers have it in the other calibers.

There are 30 for sale on gunbroker, none in .308. Correction, one for sale, right hand model.

i don't know if i got lucky or what. I called gander mountain and asked if they could get a me a vsf in .308 and they said yes. then i asked about a left handed one and the guy hesitated. he said let me call the dealers and i will call you back. so i got a call back 15mns later and he said i think i found one in a store of ours in Chicago the price is 1050$ well got a call back again and he said it was their. SO IT LOOKS LIKE I'M GETTING IT IN A WEEK! I'm totally pumped about it. cant wait guys
