First woodchuck of the year!

I have been seeing woodchucks for a couple of weeks now but today I actually had a rifle with me.
I got him at 145 yards with a Ruger No.1 in 223.
Time to put the rifle back in the gun room and grab another

I haven't seen any around my house yet this year but I'm ready for them if they show up.

After what they did to my outside light wiring last years, it will be no mercy this year even if they're out at the back of the back 50.

Seen my first blue bird last Fri. I'm kinda into that. 3 yrs. ago I had a male that would hover around my sliding glass door until I feed him some meal worms. That was pretty cool. I get them use to a ringing  bell when I start setting out worms. Way to early to shoot pig's. Let them have there young first, more target's......hee hee
