Nice!

Looks like a very good start!

Nice! I always wanted a JP brake, they are huge but it pays off. Keep it up and let us know how ya do when you stretch those legs and how she shoots at 500 and further.

Note: I love the Burris tac rings, for the $$ they cannot be beat. I've tried several other brands that cost 3 to 4 times as much and I'll never toss my $$ out the window again, I will get those rings on every rifle of mine from now on :)

Thanks, I almost spent the money on a more expensive set of rings, I'm so glad I didn't.  I was so impressed with the fit and finish I ordered a second pair for a different project.

Friends and relatives have already ordered some for themselves after seeing them. My cousin thought they cost $120.00 or so when he held them before I mounted them. He was shocked when I told him they cost a 3rd of that! Burris is onto something, their bases are great too. Highly recommended!!  ;D

I have a set of those on my VTR.  Got mine from Midway and you can get a set in 30mm.

SWFA probably wont have them in stock and you wont know until a few days go by and you get an email saying they are back ordered. I like the place but 90% of their items are always out of stock. I got mine from OpticsPlanet and they cost less too, about $6.00 less not to mention they come from Illinois or Michigan and arrive a lot sooner compared to being shipped from Texas.

Thanks!

Looks like I will be taking this out to Montana on my mule deer hunt in November. I found out a few days ago that my hunting party all drew tags. It will be my first out of state hunt, I'm looking forward to it. I'm planning on bringing extra ammo to try some long range prairie dogging.
