Who changes Cross-hairs??
« on: March 20, 2008, 07:59:10 AM »
I want to change my cross hairs to a ballistic-plex type recticle. I know there are guys out there that do that. Can you help me and give me some names and approximate costs? I've talked with a couple of guys but they want almost what I paid for the scope for their work. I need it done on 2 Sightron scopes.

Thanks,

Bob

TK Lee does dots on fixed power and some variable Sightrons.

Bob,I don't know what model Sightrons you've got but you can get a Sightron l  with mil-dot reticle in the 3-9x40 for under $125.  I've got one with std plex and it's a VERY nice scope.

T.K. Lee does a great job with custom dot reticles. I just got my second scope back from him recently--a 4-16X Weaver with 3-3 MOA dots below X-hair and 1 4 MOA dot either side of the vertical axis for windage. He's now making a custom 17 dot system i'm having made up for a very specialized long-range handgun scope.
