Need'n some glass for the .....
« on: March 23, 2008, 04:39:03 PM »
Hello all, just wondering what kinda glass you guys are use'n on your 223.  I put an order in for a synthetic handi (standard barr.)a few days ago and am looking to get some good glass for it, something in the 150-200 dollar range.  I also want something with good mag. 14-18 would be good.  was looking at the Mueller APV 4.5-14.

Just a hint if anyone has a Dicks Sporting Goods close by you can spec. order and it (most of the time will be cheaper the off the rack).

BSA has a (Sweet .223) that is made just for .223 ballistics. Some people don't like BSA but I love both of mine.

Hey Tim I found the same one on the Brown web for 115 Thanks That is what I am getting.

I did see some info that said they do not like heavy recoil. Do you have any thoughts bout that.  If I like it  may put one one my Savage 308 too.

Heavy recoil means magnum rifles and spring airgun, they works fine on standard chamberings like 308 and 30-06.

Eabco and Missou Mule both sell the APV for $115 shipped w/sunshade, there was a link to Eabco's APV in one of the links I gave ya. ;)
