H&R .22LR model 950
« on: March 24, 2008, 03:19:00 AM »
I have an H&R model 950 .22LR 9 shot revolver. I have been unable to find any info on this gun as to the date of manu. or anything else. I've found info on the 949, 922, 930, and several other models, but I've yet to see anything on a 950. Anybody know anything about this model?

If it has a two letter serial number prefix starting with A, the year of manufacture can be found in the FAQs and Help sticky whiich is linked in the sticky right above this thread. There's one that's sold on one of the auction sites right now that was made in AX= 1983. ;)

You know, I feel so dumb. I have looked at this listing of dates several times and thought that they only applied to sb1 and sb2 rifles and shotguns. It just dawned on me that this was for all H&R and NEF guns. :D :D

Mine is also a 1983 with AX as the first two letters. Thanks Quick.

IIRC the 950 is a nickle version of the 949 (if that helps)

I also have a Model 950 that I'm attempting to find the manufacturing year of.  Mine is brand new and still in the box.  This topic/thread is very old, and therefore does not have the "sticky" above it so I can view the H&R list also.

Does anyone know where I can view the Harrington & Richardson serial number list so I can identify my pistol also?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Brian
