Post your elk Pictures

I am lucky enough to live where I can hunt them straight from my house.  I've gotten to know the are pretty well and can usually find the elk.  Unit 41 Colorado.  I'm building preference points to hunt unit 61 in the future.  I try for a unit 41 either sex tag as my second choice and a cow tag as my third choice.

2006 cow tag: She dropped right on a trail, I'll never get that lucky again.

Mac,

Very Nice!  I could have put a winch like that to good use for the last cow.  I've been thinking about making something just like that.

thanks for posting,

This is a bull I took in the Eagles Nest Wilderness (Unit 371) a few years back during muzzleloader season. I used a .50 cal muzzleloader with a 444 gr connical. The picture makes the terrain look flat, but this was at 11,500 ft elevation with a very steep/long pack out.
