Came home with an Encore Pro Hunter .243 Win in blued steel with walnut stock. I'd been wanting a Pro Hunter ever since they came out, but my local gun shop wasn't able to get on in .243 like I wanted. Finally, a supply of the blued barrels and frames with walnut stocks showed up through their distributor and since I didn't have my heart set on stainless / synthetic (I've always liked the look of blued steel and walnut) I took the plunge. (Although from reading some of the posts here, maybe I should have taken the pledge - there is a 12-step program, right?)
Now to break in the barrel and work up a load for it...
