pardner tracker sbI
« on: March 27, 2008, 09:18:20 AM »
just got a pardner tracker sbI 12 gage 3"cyl. bore with iron sightsfor $99.oo out the door.
The ser.# ND229xxx so if I read it right it was made in 1989 .
It has a speed load or speed feed stock. My question is, I think if it has a spring and a plunger to keep the shells in the stock. It might be frozen in the pushed in position how do I get at it, to fix it.

thanks

I think Marcus has one of those, he should be able to help you.  Is that a TrackerI, smooth bore?  What a great find.

yes its a smooth bore TrackerI. I have to redo the stock, the rest of the gun is in very good shape
I like shooting $2.00 a box of shells.Dutchuss county new york is shotgun only for deer and I always
only used a smooth bore.

Cookieman is correct, I do have the same gun. I'm sorry I cant be more help with the stock but I haven't tried taking it apart yet. That is a great bargain though and I'm sure you will be pleased with the gun. I've put a dozen or so cheap Rem and Win slugs through mine with great results.

Yes, there is. mine has a black follower pushes the shell forward.I'm guessing that if you took the recoil pad off you might get to the back of the spring.

Well I took the recoil pad off and found the follower and spring pushed up so far and jammed
it would not move I called N.E.F. and talked to one of there smiths, he said try to drill it
out, did not work so since it was in bad shape I wound up cutting it off ,I would never
have gotten it  out, I had a new stock from another gun so I put that on cleaned the
bore and it looks good. I"ll go to the range maybe mon. or tue. and sight it in 2" high
at 50yds.
thanks every one for your help
