Prayers needed for my brother who has cancer

I would appreciate prayers for my younger brother, 54 yrs. old who recently was diagnosed with lung cancer. he is married and has 3 sons, the youngest of whom is still in highschool. We are praying for his recovery and strength in the weeks ahead with chemo and radiation treatments. Even more importantly we are praying for a real conversion in his heart that he would draw close to God during this struggle. thanks.

Amen. Jal5 !    I'm praying for him.    How sad that it takes tragedy to turn men's heart to God.    At prayer meeting tonight my pastor is looking for souls to be saved.     I thought .... winning the lottery, a man won't turn to God.   Winning Bingo at the Casino won't turn a man to God.    But, losing his home, or all his finances suddenly evaporate, or a deadly cancerous disease strikes, and then man remembers there is a merciful God who is able to restore everything him just as He did for JOB.   But more important is that man trusts in God no matter what the outcome.

thanks for the prayers for my brother!

He is doing OK having gone through the full course of chemo and radiation with a recent PET scan that showed no cancer cells in his body! We are attributing this successful treatment to the prayers being offered and thanking God. Keep em coming his way, I am standing in faith that a real conversion is happening in his heart too from what he has shared with me.
