A group of Mountaineers got together and went deer hunting. They paired up and set out, agreeing to meet back at camp at sun down. Just as the sun was disappearing behind the hills, John comes staggering up the trail dragging a perfectly formed 10 point buck. A beautiful speciman. As everyone gathered around admiring the deer, someone asked, "where's Henry?" John replied, "Well, a couple of miles back down the trail, he got all white and sweaty and kinda keeled over. I guess he had a stroke or somethin'". The same fellow shouted, "you mean you left Henry in the woods dying so you could bring that deer in?" "Well", John said, "it was a tough call but I didn't figure anybody was gonna come along and steal Henry."
