Are you talking small rifle or large rifle primers? I have lots of CCI BR4 primers and find them a good primer that takes high pressure. I also have a large supply of the Remington 7 1/2 primers and prefer them over the CCI's but I guess that is a personal choice. I believe the Federals are 205M that people use in the bench rest circle. I have not used Federals too much. I do not like their packaging for one, they usually cost more than the Remington 7 1/2 and the cups are not as thick as the CCI or the Remington primers. One advantage the Federals have is that if you have a weak firing pin spring, they maybe more reliable than a Remington or CCI since they have a thinner cup. I am talking all small rifle primers, not much experience in the large rifle primers, but I do know that CCI makes a BR2 primer for the large rifle.
