Anyone have one of these  and if you do how are they for shooting are they reliable?  Got a line on one as I'm in the market for a used pump (would like a remington 870 but tough to find below 300.00 here in Canada.

They are not bad shotguns the military bought some during Nam  they work fine just note the name brand. I fact a severely wounded  Army (I believe) lt. got the Medal of Honor. He made a stand to cover his men's escape to an LZ he used his point mans model 67. They work fine

I've got a 67 series E pump gun (20 ga.) with a full choke field barrel that I've had about 25 yrs. Good gun for small game. I don't hunt more than a few times a year, but I've never had trouble with it. They're not the prettiest things around but for the price I'm happy with it.

I picked up a 67 last year for less than a hundred. It's in surprisingly good shape, but not real collectible, so I'm thinking about cutting the barrel to 20", and fitting it out to look like one of the 'Nam-issue models.

They have been around for a long, long time, also called Model 77 (If I remember correctly at that time the 67 was called a Springfield) which was a bit more expensive.

I always wanted one  but never got around to getting one as I used my grandpa's Model 12 or
Crescent double barrel.

I bought one in the mid 70's for about $80.  It was in 20 ga.  In 1983 I sent it to the factory to have screw in chokes installed.  It was gave me good service.  I had a Stevens 311 in 12 ga but got the 20 gau for small game and for deer.  The double barrel was good for slugs out to 40 yards and then the slugs would cross.  The 20 ga was on the money out to 60 yards with just the two beads on the vent rib lining up.  Sold it in the 90's as I bought a Stoeger double barrel in 20 ga (and had a Remington 870 slug gun).
