7X30 Range report
« on: March 30, 2008, 11:11:47 AM »
Finally got to wring out the 7x30 rebore/rechamber  that Wayne York did for me.All I can say is WOW.It is in a stock that I bought, so I could send frames back to NEF.The forearm has not been worked on at all.The 4 X truglow scope was only boresighted. The first  three arounds out of the barrel were in a 2in group ant 9 oclock, two inches left of the bull.
Nest three handloads, 120 gr Nosler BT, RL-15, CCI primers and Federal brass, were 1 1/2 inches high and  1 inch left.I can not wait untill I get a new stock and forend and get some chrony work done.      ;D  Doug

That's just what I'm looking for as well.  What did you use to rebore?  How long did it take to get back?  How can I get it away from you?  Never mind, I can wait, but please share the info.  DP.

Sounds good. Load development and range work is always fun anyhow. Dave
