New stocks on Synthetic Handi-Rifles?
« on: March 31, 2008, 06:57:16 AM »
I notice from the pics on the H&R site and in the catalog that the stocks on the new in 2008 Synthetic Handi-Rifles are different.

The ones shown with the .357 mag/20 ga and .44 mag/12 ga combos and the standard Synthetic Handi-Rifle appear to have a target-style fore end and unventilated recoil pad.  They also appear to have smoother finish and nicer molded-in checkering.

Can anyone give me a first-hand description of the change, and maybe post some better pics?

Does anyone know if the new stocks are on all the new Synthetic Handi-Rifles, just the new models, or just the combos?

Thanks!

Matthew

See the two 44mag threads on page 2.

Thanks, Tim, I just read those.  Any idea whether or not the new stocks are replacing the old stock on all the models?
