Do a search for gas powered winches. Some look junky but there is one ( $800.00) that attaches to your chain saw in place of the bar. 150' of cable. It is getting harder each year dragging bears out of the thick stuff they live (and die) in. If these winches are reliable they would be a life saver. They are made for logging etc.
