We pulled of the yearly dipnetting excursion last night, managed to limit out in 3 1/2 hours of fishing.  I'll be spending all night bagging and freezing the catch.

Dang!  I just paid $100 for 3 kings and 4 coho to one of our local hand trollers.  Gotta get that boat built!  Congratulations on filling the freezer!

It appears that all the salmon runs are bigger than normal.  Maybe our fishery is recovering and hopefully this will be a trend.

Heading to the Copper next weekend maybe.

Wow, check out the run of sockeye on the Kenai so far this year http://alaskaoutdoorjournal.com/Sonar/kenaisock.html

Last years run was higher then normal, and this years looks like it's higher than last years.
