Bake on Finish...Which is best??
« on: April 04, 2008, 05:57:27 PM »
I want to put on a simple, durable camo paint for the barrel, action and stock. What brand would be the easiest and best to use? Will it work on the stock as well? Any input would be appreciated. I plan to do it on a previously sporterized Lee Enfield that I just purchased.

Thanks,

Bob

just tried duracoat looks great now i find the bake ons a bit of a problem like how do you support the barrel without marking it up? the duracoat does NOT setup as fast as they say in the directions picked up my bull barrel and it's weight caused imprinting so it will be to do again the other light barrels were o.k. easy to use put on a tack coat and then a wet coat.
the nation that forgets it defenders will itself be forgotten
