I have come across the sweetest combination for a rifle. I have a 22" barrel in 221 Fireball on a contender frame with a thumb hole stock. I bought this thinking that I might like this little cartridge. I have a 223 that is very accurate but with the 40 Gr Hornady V-Max bullet, this thing is awsome. I know its a liitle slower than the 223 but the 221 is so sweet to shoot. I can see why Remington has come out with this in their classic. I wish Remington would make this on their Model 7 action or the new Ruger Compact. If you have never shot a 221 Fireball Rifle, you are truley missing out.
