I was not being smart. I said outstanding-way to go.

But since you asked my 204 bone stock will put three 32gr VMAXs compleatly under a dime and my 45-70 with WIN 300HPs will match the 444. Just picked up a 22 HORNET yesterday I think will out do my 204 but havn't sand bagged yet. Factory WIN 46grHPs three under a dime resting on the bench.

Hope this thread keeps going. I'm gonna post mine too as soon as my 204 reloading equipment gets here from Midsouth. This is the kind of stuff I like. Dave

To HAWK89 and all readers: I meant no disrespect with my comment. It was suppose to be a dry type of joke. If I offended anyone with my comment I offer my sincerest apology, as
that was not my intent.

Well good news I shot .75 with 3 shots and 100 yards with heavy wind.  I noticed the .204 like heaver loads near max at least with .32 V-MAX using AA2230.
Tried AA 5744 with 15 gr they didn't shoot well at all and left barrel dirty.

Sounds good. Most all of the 204s my friends have seem to like the 32grainers best. I know mine does. Well at least in factoty loads. I havn't tried to reload for it. I don't think I could improve much if any over factory.

Hey lonewolf, nice group!
I'm assuming that the group was shot from a 308 Win., is this correct?
Thanks!

Well I went out shooting with .204.  Shot under .60 with reloads.  Shot .30 with hornady factory 40 gr bullets.  Sorry don't have digital camera.

OUTSTANDING!!!
Now were talking real accuracy.
.30 with factories.
Man I love to reload and all but with that kind of accuracy I wouldn't bother.
I only have one gun that can do that good, an old pre war model 70 WIN in 22 HORNET that the barrel was cut (before me) to make a carbine out of and the fool who did it used a hacksaw and didn't even bother to square it up. You can actualy see the angle with the naked eye. What's more is he didn't put a crown or anything on the end. It should not shoot, but it does! It's the best shooter I've got. On more that one ocasion it has placed factory WIN 46gr HPs first two dang near in the same hole with the third cutting 1/2 the hole. This gun has to be a freak the way the barrel is and still shoot like that.
The best my 204 will do is with factory 32 gr VMAX three covered by a dime.

Great job!

You know what the best part of today was!!!  When all the NEF critics drop dead.  If they did see it they wouldn't believe a NEF would shot .30 at 100 yards with 3 shots.

Well my reload that did .60 was AA2230 with 27.1 gr and 32 gr V-MAX.  Also had COL at 2.275.   My rifling's touch at 2.285.  Also floated front receiver.
The .30 was just hornday 40gr V-MAX factory loads.

I shot my 204 again today. I was going to shoot some 5 round groups but once again its very windy so I just shot some 3 round groups. The wind just doesn't quit. One of the reasons we have all the windmills. Anyhow this was typical of the groups I shot. There was 2 that were a little smaller on the other target but it blew away and ended up in the water.  This one measures about .760" so the accuracy potential is there. Still waiting for my 204 reloading stuff to show up. I did buy another box of factory stuff so I'm gonna try again if it gets calm. Dave

These are a few of my groups from Tuesday, and the same groups that I made the post about when I asked about the fliers.  I am still happy with my 204, just have to play some more.  Just had 150 buck in Cabelas cash come in the mail today from work so tonight I am going to order some more bullets and other goodies.
