ky, I don't think you will need to go to those extremes. When trapping canines--keep your gloves and boots as clean as possible.You can use a kneeling pad , handle lure and bait bare handed.Then use clean gloves when handling traps, or you can use differant gloves for handling the stinky stuff and clean gloves for traps.
When running my water line for beaver, muskrat, mink, coon and otter --I do not worry about being super clean. I am a smoker,and while I will not smoke around a canine set--I do not worry about it for the other critters. Tom
